DR. JAIME MENDOZA is an Associate Professor of Practice and Director of the Psychological Counseling Services and Training Center at American University in Cairo’s Department of Psychology. He is a clinical psychologist with 25 years of professional practice as a psychotherapist for adolescents, couples, families and businesses. He obtained his Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) degree at Azusa Pacific University. He has a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. His clinical interests are couples and family work; family skills; leadership skills, integration of science and practice (training clinics); school-based mental health; and community outreach. He has extensive experience directing university-based psychotherapist training centers, working with businesses (for profit and NGOs).
