Sherine Soliman studied psychology at the American University in Cairo (AUC). Her research thesis focuses on “The mental health impact of divorce” in Egypt. She has a passionate interest in studying mental health. She has also been working as a Research Assistant for two years on a collaborative project with department of Psychology at Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York. She is testing children’s cognitive abilities. She is also working as an assistant for the Student Disability Services Unit at AUC. On outside experiences, she has been working part time at “Inside-out Counselling Center” in Cairo preparing materials for mental health workshops.
