Dr. Harrison began his psychology career at the University College London completing his BSc. He returned to the University College London after several years to complete his Doctorate in Educational and Child Psychology.
Adrian has written papers in the areas of social and emotional well-being; specific learning difficulties and has contributed to national magazine articles on psychology. He conducted his first research paper on Autism at the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience in 2004.
Adrian has worked as an applied psychologist in educational and clinical settings for over ten years.
Adrian is a level 4 VIG supervisor; FRIENDS Trainer and licensed psychologist working in Abu Dhabi. He is the regional lead and Head of the department in Abu Dhabi. His responsibilities include case allocation, safeguarding, training, treatment and assessment plans for children and young people.
Adrian is an advocate for children believing that all children can make progress relative to their starting point once provided with sufficient assistance from knowledgeable adults.
