Dr. Diksha Laungani is an HCPC (UK) registered Educational Psychologist who completed her professional doctorate from the UCL Institute of Education in London, UK. Her doctoral thesis explored the views of young people with learning difficulties during their transition to employment and their families.
Diksha is an advocate for promoting the voices of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their families. Her practitioner specialisms include fostering the self-determination of adolescents and young adults with SEND and promoting disability awareness in the community. As a practitioner, Diksha characterizes herself as a person-centered and humanistic psychologist and is a firm proponent of solution-focused approaches. She is a qualitative researcher by heart.
Outside the office, Diksha is an avid hiker, a chocoholic, terrified of cats and detests the aroma of coffee!
