William Mitchner is originally from Webster, KY. He is currently a doctoral student in the Counselor Education and Supervision PhD program at the University of Memphis in the Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology, and Research. He received his Educational Specialist degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Murray State University in Murray, KY. He received his Master’s degree in Human Development and Leadership from Murray State University in Murray, KY. He received his bachelor’s degree in Outdoor Recreation and Youth and Non-Profit services from Murray State University in Murray, KY. William has worked clinically with many populations including international students and trauma survivors. He has worked mostly in community settings and working on college campuses. William’s current research interests include International counseling practices, Trauma counseling, and working with international student populations.
